Michael Ryder

Michael is an internationally accomplished and highly regarded leadership consultant, executive coach, facilitator, and researcher with over 20 years of commercial and consulting experience, as well as being an internationally-published author on Evolutionary Leadership.

Michael has worked with global and ASX listed corporations and major government entities as a trusted advisor in the areas of leadership capability, culture, transformation, and organisational potential. An experienced former senior executive and CEO, Michael is a passionate professional who holds an intrinsic understanding of the internal and external challenges confronting today’s organisations, top leadership teams, senior executive leaders, emerging leaders, and governing boards.

Michael incorporates his deep experience and leading-edge expertise in leadership program design, facilitation, and coaching / development modalities to realise potential and peak performance in others. This is achieved through building leadership capability, cultural transformation, and superior performance in self, team, and organisational contexts.

Michael has worked as a consultant and facilitator on a number of large-scale domestic and international leadership development initiatives across a diverse range of sectors. His astute business and commercial acumen, combined with his systemic understanding of key business drivers, people capital, and strategy allows him to easily form highly collaborative partnerships that enable wise and sustainable organisational stewardship.

In conjunction with Michael’s extensive leadership consulting experience he is also a clinically qualified Somatic Psychotherapist and Mindfulness teacher with over 20 years’ experience.

Having worked and practiced internationally from the monasteries of Nepal to his work with renowned mindfulness expert and author Professor Emeritus Jon Kabat-Zinn and neuroscientific educator and psychiatrist Daniel Seigel MD in the USA, he holds an innate understanding of ‘vertical learning’ and the human inner landscape in conjunction with the mindset and behaviours that support greater resilience, performance, and influence.

His interest and passion for what is possible has inspired him to conduct academic research into the development of conscious leadership potential within ASX corporations and Fortune 500 companies, and he has been a co-facilitator of one of the largest personal development programs (40,000 people) in the world. This leading edge 4-day program was also conducted in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
